The system monitors 22 tanks of hazardous waste and sends level alarms
to a site supervisory system. Automatic shutdown in the case of high-high
levels or system failure is also implemented.
Seimens (Texas Instruments) 545 PLC Controller with a Peerlink connection to a model 530T PLC.
Conventional pushbuttons and pilot lights are used for the shutdown system. The alarm status is transmitted via TIWAY to the supervisory system.
